Tiny kittens have a special talent for making every Friday feel better.

Every Friday has its own kind of excitement. You know the weekend is almost here, your responsibilities are slowly winding down, and you can finally start thinking about sleeping in or doing absolutely nothing. I can't think of a better way to celebrate making it through another week than looking at impossibly tiny kittens who seem too small to exist in the first place.

I honestly don't understand how something can be so tiny and so full of personality at the same time. These little fluffballs can barely keep their balance, yet they already act like they own the entire room. Maybe that's what makes them so entertaining to watch—they're completely fearless, even when they're only a few inches tall.

Whenever I come across pictures of smol kittens, I end up smiling without even realizing it. They don't have to do anything extraordinary. A tiny stretch, a sleepy yawn, or an awkward attempt to climb onto a blanket is enough to completely distract me from whatever stressful thing I was thinking about five seconds earlier.

So, before you officially switch into weekend mode, permit yourself to slow down for a couple of minutes. Let these miniature felines remind you that not every Friday has to end with big plans. Sometimes, all you really need is a collection of ridiculously tiny kittens to make the week feel like it ended on exactly the right note.

I don't think tiny kittens realize how powerful they are. They only have to blink those enormous eyes or curl up into the smallest little ball, and suddenly every problem feels a little less important. If happiness had a size, I'm convinced it would be about the same size as one of these smol cats.

One of my favorite things about baby kittens is how curious they are about absolutely everything. Every shoelace becomes an adventure, every cardboard box is a new discovery, and every nap somehow ends in the funniest sleeping position imaginable. Their tiny world is full of excitement, and it's impossible not to smile along with them.
